If you have a duplicated property listing on Booking.com, you can close it by removing all of its room types or units from the Booking.com Extranet. Once every unit is deleted, the listing no longer has active units and can be closed. The steps below show you how.
Before You Start
Make sure you are removing the duplicate listing, not your active property. Deleting units cannot be undone, so check the property name and details before you continue.
Step-by-Step: Removing a Duplicated Property
Log in to the Booking.com Extranet. Go to admin.booking.com and sign in with your credentials.
Select the duplicate property and open Room details. From the top menu, select the Property tab and choose the duplicate property. Then select Room details. Depending on your account view, this may appear as Property layout.
Find the room or unit to remove. In the list of room types, locate the first room or unit you want to delete.
Delete the room or unit. Select the option to delete the room or unit, then confirm the deletion. The room or unit will be removed from the property page.
Repeat for all remaining room types. Continue deleting until the property has no active units.
Retry publishing in Holidu. Go back to Holidu and open the Distribution channel tab of your property. If an error message appears for the Booking.com channel, click the “click here” link to retry publishing. It may take a few minutes for the changes to take effect on Booking.com.
Important: Upcoming Reservations
If a room or unit has upcoming reservations, the Delete option will not be available. You will only see Edit or Upload photos.
You cannot permanently delete a room or unit until all upcoming reservations have been fulfilled and guests have checked out. Wait until those stays are complete, then return to the steps above.
