Important: Only the host (the primary account holder in Holidu) can complete this verification process.

Verifying your data with Holidu takes only a few minutes. This guide covers the steps for verifying your account as a private host or sole proprietorship, including freelancers and sole traders. You will find two video tutorials and a full PDF guide with screenshots below.

1. Gather Your Documents

Before you begin, make sure you have the following documents ready. Please note that Adyen does not accept scanned documents. Only clear photos or the official digital download of the original document will be accepted.

• Official identification (passport, driving license, or national ID)
• Proof of bank account ownership (for example, a bank statement or deposit slip)
• Your registration number, if you are a freelancer, sole trader, or sole proprietor

2. Start the Verification

• Step 1: Go to the 'Account' tab in your Holidu account.
• Step 2: Click on 'Validate' to begin the process.
• You may be asked to sign a new agreement. Simply accept to continue. This will not change your pricing.

3. Verify Your Personal Information

• Click on 'Personal Details'.
• Check the information that is pre-filled from your Holidu account. If something needs editing, click 'Edit', add any missing information, and correct anything that is incorrect. Then click 'Next'.
• At the bottom, select whether your bank account is in your name or registered under your sole proprietorship (freelancer, sole trader, etc.).
• If applicable, enter your registration number and address.
• Click 'Next' to continue.

4. Add Your Address

Enter your address in the search field. The details will fill in automatically.

Important: Make sure the address matches the one on your ID document. If your billing address is different, update it to match the personal address on your ID.

5. Verify Your Identity with an ID Document

You have two options:

Instant Verification (Recommended)

• Select the country that issued your ID.
• Choose your document type (passport, driving license, or ID card).
• Make sure your document matches the personal information you entered.
• Scan the QR code with your phone, or open the link you receive by SMS, and take clear photos of your document for immediate verification.

Manual Verification

• Select your document type.
• Upload clear, high-quality photos of your document from your computer.
• Click 'Next' to submit. Verification can take up to 72 hours.

6. Verify Your Payout Details

• Make sure your bank account matches the name you provided in the previous step.
• Choose one of the two verification options below.

Instant Verification

• Select your online banking provider.
• Log in to your bank account through Tink, our trusted partner. Your login information is never stored. It is used only for verification.

Manual Verification

• Enter your bank details and upload a recent bank document dated within the last 12 months. The document must show your name and IBAN. Non-EU residents must also show the bank location.
• Click 'Next' to submit. Verification can take up to 72 hours.

7. Verify Sole Proprietor or Sole Trader Details

If you are a sole proprietor, freelancer, or sole trader, please provide:

• Your business legal name, exactly as it appears on your official registration documents
• Your registration number, or confirm that you do not have one
• Your business address, which must match your legal address

8. Complete the Verification

• If you used Instant Verification, your account status should update right away.
• If you used Manual Verification, allow up to 72 hours. You can track the status in your Holidu account. It will change from "In Review" to "Complete" once the process is finished.

• Ensure clarity: Make sure your photos and documents are clear, well lit, and fully visible.
• Stay consistent: Make sure the information on all your documents matches, especially names and addresses.
• Monitor your email: We may contact you with updates or request additional steps, so check your inbox regularly.
