How does Holidu work?

Holidu compares holiday home prices from more than 100 booking sites in one place. We show all offered prices in a clear overview, so you can find a holiday home at the best price possible. When you find a property you like, click on the offer to book it.

Here is how it works:

1. Enter your destination, travel dates, and number of guests.
2. Browse the search results, which bundle prices from many rental providers.
3. Click on the offer you like.
4. Book directly on Holidu, or continue to the booking site of the provider to finish your reservation.

Using Holidu is completely free for you. We use image recognition to match the same accommodation across different rental providers, which makes it possible to compare prices fairly.

According to what criteria does Holidu select the search results?

Holidu uses a dynamic, self-learning algorithm to sort and display search results. The results depend mainly on the details you enter, such as your destination, budget, and number of guests. You can also change the order of the results with sorting options.

Search criteria

The results shown to you are based on the information you provide, including:

• Destination: The place you want to visit.
• Price range: Your budget for accommodation.
• Number of guests: How many people the property must accommodate.
• Accommodation type: For example, hotel, villa, or apartment.
• Facilities and characteristics: Features such as a pool or Wi-Fi.
• Provider remuneration: Holidu often receives compensation from third-party providers. This compensation can affect the position of a listing in the results.

Sorting preferences

You can choose how to sort your results. The available options are:

• Popularity: How often a listing is viewed or booked.
• Best offer: Listings with the best prices or deals.
• Ratings: Accommodations with the best reviews.

When results are sorted by other parameters, Holidu may also consider how listings rank among similar offers and how many clicks or bookings they receive.
